Wale Releases Kid Cudi Collaboration, Talks Feud and New Album

Chart Juice: Wale Debuts at No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums

Wale has been quite the busy man. Coming off the heels of highly praised cypher with his fellow Maybach Money Group members at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, he just released "Focused" a cut off of his sophomore effort "Ambition" with former foe Kid Cudi today (Oct. 17).

Wale addressed the beef with Cudi and how they got over it in an interview with Complex."When you're that close to somebody and your friendship takes a turn, it's really hard to repair," Wale told Complex. "It's a blessing to be mature enough to get over it and be cool again and make such an incredible record that the fans want to hear."

Wale has taken the title to his latest album, "Ambition" (Nov. 1), to heart, he told Complex. "The defining moment of my career will be 'Ambition.' [The album] is complete and I have every intention of making this a classic album." After a personal disappointment with his debut effort, "Attention Deficit," the D.C. rapper talks about his and Cudi's good fortune.

"Cudi came back from inner demons. I came back from not knowing what was gonna happen with [my career]. We made it, we healthy, we got our fans, and this one's for you motherf*ck*rs."
