Exclusive: 2 Chainz and Future Talk Upcoming Projects and Touring
Whether cruising around the blogs or the block, you can't miss the sounds of two of the hottest rappers in Atlanta right now, 2 Chainz and Future. Just within this past year, both rappers have teamed up with some hip-hop heavy weights, such as T.I., Young Jeezy, Drake, Gucci Mane and more.
But don't let the co-signs fool you. 2 Chainz and Future have been on the scene for a minute. 2 Chainz, originally Tity Boi, was once a part of the rap duo, Playaz Circle. Playaz Circle's " Duffle Bag Boy," featuring Lil Wayne, peaked at No. 2 on Rap Songs on Dec. 24, 2007. Future has five mixtapes under his belt and is dropping his debut effort, "Pluto," on Jan. 31. "It's been long over due for us to be sitting here, but everything happens in time. It make perfect sense," Future told Billboard.com's The Juice.
In mid-November, we caught up with the rappers while at 11th Street Studios in ATL. In the first part of their two-part Juice interview, Future discusses his upcoming album, "Pluto," and 2 Chainz talks touring overseas, his Kreayshawn collaboration and upcoming videos.
