With "Blurred Lines" still perched atop the Hot 100, Robin Thicke isn't relenting in promoting his upcoming album. Recently, he shared a new single titled "Give It 2 U," produced by Dr. Luke and featuring a guest verse from Kendrick Lamar.

Musically, it's a far cry from the smooth, laid back R&B Thicke fans are used to. Instead, it's a loud EDM track that sounds a good deal like's trademark sound. If the controversial lyrics of "Blurred Lines" (such as "I know you want it") were too ambiguous, Thicke doesn't leave much to the imagination here. In the song's intro, he sings, "I got this for you/ a little Thicke for you/ a big kiss for you/ I got a hit for you/ big dick for you/ let me give it to you.”

Thicke's new album -- also titled "Blurred Lines" -- is due July 30. With this unrelenting EDM track now in the mix along with the minimal funk of "Blurred Lines" and a track of typical Thicke R&B crooning ("For the Rest of My Life"), the album promises to be quite the grab bag. "Definitely, it's Robin Thicke music, but in a happier place," the singer told Billboard in May.
