The Seed: Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Roscoe Dash & More

GIMME SOME MORE! Busta Rhymes attends Reek da Villian's 'The Gift' Mixtape Release Party on December 23, 2010 in New York City.

This week, Busta Rhymes dropped his first Cash Money single, "Twerk It." Busta pulls out his best Jamaican accent for the Pharrell produced song. The rapper signed with the label in November, 2011. Busta Rhymes is also featured on Talib Kweli’s “Rocket Ships” which was released this week in anticipation of his “Prisoner of Consciousness” album (May 7).

Roscoe Dash also made waves online this week with the release of his latest single “Everyday.” Since his debut “All The Way Turnt Up” opened on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in November, 2009, Dash has posted 12 titles on the chart. His last chart appearance as a lead artist came in 2011 when his “Good Good Night” peaked at No. 44. Could “Everyday” get him back on the chart?
