Aside from producing and recording music for The Great Gatsby film, Jay-Z is also working on a new solo album. During a recent visit to Hot 97's Angie Martinez Show, The-Dream hinted at a new Jay-Z album, which he is collaborating with him on.

Around the 1:44-minute mark of the clip, the conversation about The-Dream's current projects steers to Jay-Z.

"Jay's coming along pretty good; I don't know if I can say that yet," announced the producer/singer. Martinez then probed, "Jay's making an album?" to which The-Dream responded, "Yeah, I think everybody knows it."

Judging by the response of the Hot 97 crew, it's rather clear that not "everybody" knew about a new Hova album.

Jay-Z's last solo studio LP was 2009's "The Blueprint III," which became his 11th number one album in the US, breaking Elvis Presley's record. It produced the Hot 100-topping single, "Empire State of Mind,"  featuring Alicia Keys.

The-Dream's upcoming album, "IV Play," is due May 28 on Def Jam/Radio Killa Records. He's also been working with Beyoncé on her forthcoming fifth studio album.
