Fans of French Montana will have to wait a little longer for his Bad Boy Records album debut.

Today (Feb. 8), the Bronx MC announced his debut LP, "Excise My French," would be pushed back from Apr. 16 to May 21. The album was first slated for a Jul. 17, 2012 release after Montana announced his signing to Bad Boy in 2011. For the time being, Frenchie will focus on his upcoming American tour, which kicks off Feb. 26 at Washington, D.C.'s Rock and Roll Hotel and continues through March 26.

Even without a proper album out, Montana's had success on the charts. "Pop That," his collaboration with Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne, and Drake, peaked at 2 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and currently sits at No. 23. He's also set to release "Pardon My French"'s latest single, "Freaks," featuring Nicki Minaj.

"Pardon My French" was named one of Billboard's Best Bets for album releases in 2013.
