Azealia Banks continued to tell her 274k Twitter followers what the word means... to her. It may not have helped matters.
During her brief career, Banks' feuds with other artists (namely Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Jim Jones and Angel Haze) have largely overshadowed her actual music. The rapper released a 4-track EP, "1991," in May and is currently working on her debut album, "Broke With Expensive Taste." Will the feuding affect sales when the album is released later this year?
Hilton, who is openly gay, has himself used the f-bomb in the past. In June 2009, the blogger was punched by will.i.am's tour manager after the artist told him to not write about him and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas and Hilton responded by calling will.i.am a "faggot."
Perez Hilton later apologized.
Everyone has a right to express their opinion of an artist's work, but when the conversation turns personally hateful -- targeting sexual preference to race -- it's gone too far. What do you think of the Azealia Banks-Perez Hilton Twitter beef?
