Are Stars Charging $20k and Up to Wear T-Shirts at Coachella? (Report)
Updated: Lacoste's rep tells Billboard that the story about Lea Michele is "100 percent false." Meanwhile, Aaron Paul is, according to the New York Daily News report, asking for $15,000 and at least 2 VIP festival passes.
This year's Coachella tickets may have sold out in less than three hours, but it’s the stars that are getting paid the big bucks to attend this year's music fest.
"Glee" actress Lea Michele is said to receive $20,000 from Lacoste to wear the French fashion label's clothes, while "Spring Breakers" star Vanessa Hudgens is getting paid $15,000 by McDonald's to attend the three-day event, reports New York Daily News. Since Lacoste and McDonald's are set to throw their own respective parties (Lacoste is hosting its 5th Annual Desert Pool Party and McDonald's is presenting a daytime soiree at Bootsy Bellows Estate), it's likely their deals include attending those bashes.
Not all celebrities have a sponsor for the fest yet, as "Need for Speed" actor Aaron Paul is asking for $15,000 and at least 2 VIP passes. Meanwhile, music fest desert queen Kate Bosworth is asking for twice as much.
Singer Joe Jonas wants close to $20,000, while former "Fashion Star" host Louise Roe wants $5,000 and three tickets.
We hear the figures go as high as $50,000 for Coachella-attending celebs, according to a L.A.-based denim company.
Coachella kicks off April 11-13 for weekend one, followed by another weekend of performances from April 18-20.
