What was it like working with Lana and embracing her for over three minutes on camera like that?
Lana was amazing to work with. The whole crew was. Everyone made me feel very comfortable so everything went so smoothly. Lana is an amazing woman. She has a beautiful soul and she's so much fun to be around. Embracing her was easy. Everyone asks the same question, did you have a boner? Ha! No, I didn't. There's a huge crew of people staring at you shouting, moving around, bright lights everywhere. Madness.
What's your view on gender roles in music videos now that you're a 'man behind the woman' type?
Most chicks in rap videos are basically hos... and I kind of feel exactly the same. I was just an object for a video. I was brought in because of the way I look. I'm not mad about it, but it's a very shallow industry.
What was your favorite part of working with Lana?
My favorite part of working with Lana, was just working with Lana, chilling and talking with her and getting to know who she really is past what the public sees.
Lana Del Rey: The Billboard Cover Story
Do you have plans to work with her in the future?
I don't get to make plans to work with Lana again, so the real question is, does Lana have plans to work with me again? I hope so.
Do you have a favorite female/male music video?
Not to big me and Lana up, but the "Born to Die" video is really my favorite video. It was so amazing to be part of something so big. It's such a good fucking video... It's like a little movie. Then my favorite male artist video would be Jay-Z & Kanye West's video for "Otis," just because it's so much fun, and such a crazy concept to just ball out and shit on everyone else in your music video.
What's on your iPod playlist right now?
A$AP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Mr. Hudson, Lana Del Rey, SpaceGhostPurrp, Iggy Azalea, Neako, Kanye West, Cold World, Modern Life Is War, Calvin Harris, Rihanna, Bad Religion, Tyler The Creator, Carry On, Chromeo, Deadmau5, Frank Ocean, Gil Scott-Heron & Jamie XX, Jay Electronica, Lil Wayne, Nas, M83, MellowhypeRob Roy, Pusha T, & Three 6 Mafia.
Finally, where do you look for style inspiration?
I find style influences from a lot of hip hop artists and then whatever high fashion styles I mix with it. I've learned a lot about fashion as a model so my styles a little better than it used to be, but i've always had swag.
