Michigan: Heartland rock (i.e., the state's Bob Seger) perhaps best defines the Midwest, but Madonna was born in Bay City, graduated from Rochester Adams High School and attended the University of Michigan before dropping out to move to New York City and create the material that would make her musical royalty.

Madonna's overwhelming success seems to have carried over into her latest venture: her Truth or Dare shoe line. The Queen of Pop has proven she knows a thing or two about shoes, as her soles have already sold out.

Madge's line, housed in a pop-up shop in Selfridges' Oxford Street store in London, has already proven to be a hit in the fashion industry. "It's been thrilling to see our customers' response to this project -- the Truth Or Dare collection has proven to be our most commercially successful footwear pop-up this year so far," shoes buying manager Helen Attwood told Vogue UK.

The Truth Or Dare designs, based off the singer's famous onstage looks, are created in collaboration with Madonna's stylist and costume designer Arianne Phillips. Styles range from everyday styles, like the leather flat boots, to striking, over-the-knee boots. They retail from $89-$349.

The shoe range, which has previously been stocked exclusively at Selfridges, debuted at Macy's and Nordstrom on Aug. 1. Some of the collection will be available at in mid-August.
