Kanye West's Fashion Collaborator: 'We Make a Really Good Team'

Kanye West performs during the 2011 Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park on September 16, 2011 in Austin, Texas.

As the debut date of Kanye West's much-anticipated fashion line draws nearer, more secrets are spilling from his golden vault. Katie Eary, a British menswear designer has opened up about working with West on his upcoming collection. Eary just showed her first womenswear collection in London yesterday with Kanye perched in the front row.

"I absolutely love working with him," Eary said to British Elle. "He's such a dedicated designer. We bounce ideas off each other, sketch on the same page... we make a really good team. He's obviously piloting it, and we're working alongside. I feel jealous at his commitment."

Kanye was later spotted behind the scenes saying he had to get back to "the studio," or as a source has recently revealed "an enormous, now-defunct nightclub in London" where the line is said to be being made. The same mysterious source described the elusive collection as: "Seemingly based on Samurai, with lots of sporty garments, but in luxury fabrics, with embellishment, embroidery-Japanese stuff-gold chain mail, that sort of sports-luxe thang, and unsurprisingly, lots of hoods, baseball/biker jacket shapes...lots of ivory and gold, although the colours kept changing-probably peach too."

Kanye's line debuts on Saturday and sounds like it matches his style: regal and inaccessible.
