Madonna makes a bold political statement with her outfit during the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 16, 2013 in New York City.

Madonna criticized Boy Scouts of America for their ban on gay members dressed in a scout uniform.

Madonna’s outfit choices have always kept us on our toes. Her latest ‘fit continued to shock as she stepped out as a boy scout on Saturday night at the GLAAD Media Awards. Challenging the Boy Scouts of America recent ban on homosexual members, Madonna arrived to the awards dressed in a Boy Scout Of America costume complete with a blue belted playsuit, fingerless gloves, fishnet tights, a brimmed hat and leather biker boots.

Presenting the Vito Russo Award to Anderson Cooper the “Girl Gone Wild” singer snubbed the Scouts organization giving a 12-minute long speech on homophobia and bullying.

"I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn't let me join," Madonna explained. "I think that's fucked up. I can build a fire. I know how to pitch a tent. I have a very good sense of direction. I can rescue kittens from trees."

"I want to do good for the community," Madonna continued. "Most importantly I know how to scout for boys. So, I think I should be allowed to be a Boy Scout and they should change their stupid rules.”

The speech ended in true Madonna fashion.  The Queen of Pop gave Cooper a big kiss on the lips calling him a "gorgeous freedom fighter.”
