Country singer Jana Kramer celebrated her 31st birthday in Nashville Tuesday with a pretty great gift: A marriage proposal from her football player boyfriend, Michael Caussin.
"It was a beautiful surprise," Kramer said in a statement via People. "He was the perfect gentleman. Nervous, on one knee, and surrounded by some of the people that love us the most."
Kramer and Caussin began dating in August. He is currently a NFL free agent tight end after being signed by Washington in July before being placed on the injured reserve the month following.
Kramer was honored as the Academy of Country Music's 2013 new female vocalist of the year for her 2012 self-titled debut that year. Her single, "Love," is currently at No. 33 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart.
The singer previously broke off an engagement with country musician Brantley Gilbert in August 2013 and was also married to actor Johnathon Schaech from 2010-2011.
