In anticipation of their Brothers of the Sun co-headlining summer tour, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw busted out the first live rendition of their new duet, "Feel Like a Rock Star," at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night (April 1).

Backed by a full band and flanked by some enthusiastic country fans, McGraw and Chesney stood next to each other at the ACMs and tore through their new duet before embracing each other at the front of the stage. Chesney was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Top Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (for "Hemingway's Whiskey") at the ACMs, but was trumped by Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's "Four The Record," respectively.

"Rock Star" is the first single from Chesney's forthcoming studio album, "Welcome to the Fishbowl," which is due out June 19. The track was released to iTunes at midnight on Monday morning, hours after Chesney and McGraw performed the track together from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The Brothers of the Sun stadium tour, which reunites Chesney and McGraw after the country superstars first toured together in 2011, will kick off in Tampa on June 2 and visit a handful of NFL stadiums before wrapping up on Aug. 25. "To go out there on the road with a guy you've been friends with for a long time and made a lot of music with already, with all the songs and music that will be played next summer, this is going to be real special for me and Tim," Chesney told Billboard when the tour was announced last November. "But, to be honest, I think the people that are going to benefit the most are the fans."
