John Mayer to Perform With Brad Paisley at ACM Awards

Recent Billboard cover star John Mayer has been added to an already star-studded list of ACM Awards performers.

Mayer, who recently rejuvenated his career following chronic vocal issues, will perform alongside Brad Paisley during the ceremony on Sunday. It was announced yesterday that Paisley will also be opening the awards, in a performance alongside Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, and others.

In other news, Gary Allan, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young and the Eli Young Band have been added to the bill as presenters.

Previously, artists including Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney were confirmed to play the award show.

The 48th annual ACM Awards will be hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. They'll air live on CBS, Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET, with a tape delay for the West Coast.
