Watch the new video from the East Austin roots duo; Sophomore album "Burning Days" due in April

East Austin rockers Sons of Fathers wanted their new video to showcase where they're from.

"We wanted to show the world we live in, the thriving East Austin scene and the drama that goes along with it," bassist David Beck said of the video for "Roots and Vine."

The video blends performance footage with a couple (played by an actress, Ziggy, and the band's road manager) squaring off.

The roots-rock act's "Burning Days," the duo's sophomore album, is due April 2; they'll make their Bonnaroo debut at the Tennessee festival in June.
