The performance from "A David Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day!" is helping raise funds for Save the Children.
If you missed the recent all-star "A David Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day!" you're in luck because Rolling Live Studios, the virtual events and production company that put on the show, dropped the video for Nine Inch Nails' cover of Bowie's "Fashion" on Monday (Jan. 25), and it is exactly what you'd expect from the master of dim rock.
The socially distanced clip featuring NIN's Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Reznor's wife, singer Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, takes the footage from the Jan. 9 event and turns it into a multi-screen homage to the late rock icon.
The visual cuts together the performance with alumni from Bowie's bands -- keyboard/piano player Mike Garson, guitarists Carlos Alomar and Gerry Leonard, bassist Mark Plati, drummer Sterling Campbell and back-up singer Catherine Russell -- with images of Reznor and his crew performing their dark-edged version of the 1980 classic.
