The Strokes took the stage on Saturday Night Live for the fourth time on Halloween night 2020 for the show hosted by comedian and former show writer John Mulaney, who was also back for his fourth turn as host.

The band performed two songs from their latest album, The New Abnormal, which was released in April. They kicked off with the lead track,  "Adults Are Talking." As lead singer Julian Casablancas crooned the lyrics in head-to-toe black, the word "OBEY" appeared in all caps on the screen behind him, lit up with a purple, red, orange and yellow striped background.

For their second song, the band performed "Bad Decisions," the second single from their sixth studio album. This time, "OBEY" was replaced by a rolling digital landscape displayed with lines, which eventually transformed into a black-and-white checkered tunnel.

At midnight, Saturday Night Live announced that Dave Chappelle would host the post-election episode Nov. 7. A musical guest has not yet been announced.
