Toni Cornell unveiled her take on Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" for coronavirus relief during LiveXLive's Music Lives digital music festival on Sunday (April 19).

"I'm  gonna sing one of my favorite songs for you guys," she says in her Instagram video. "I love you, Daddy, and I hope I do this some justice."

For her performance, the teenager stripped down the 1991 debut single by the rock supergroup, which was led by her father, the late Chris Cornell. "I don't mind stealing bread/ From the mouths of decadence/ But I can't feed on the powerless/ When my cup's already overfilled," she sang while strumming an acoustic guitar.

"Sitting in my dad's home studio during this crazy time makes me miss him even more. Music is the greatest healer and the most powerful way to bring people together especially during tragedy," the teen wrote on Instagram alongside her cover. "If my dad were here, I know he would have been the first to donate his time and effort."

In the caption, the 15-year-old also revealed she and her family are donating $50,000 to MusiCares COVID-19 relief efforts on behalf of the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation.
