My Chemical Romance really can't believe that their Killjoys are this excited about the band's reunion. They might be the only ones, though, since the one gig they've announced so far at the 6,300-capacity Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Dec. 20 sold out in a snap. That's why they're feeling so much gratitude, which they shared in a heartfelt message to their fans over the weekend.

"It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days," they wrote. "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR."

At press time it was not known if the reunion will feature additional dates or the release of any new music. The band split in 2013 after releasing four full-length studio albums, including 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
