The Black Keys

Ever wanted to learn to rock like The Black Keys? Well, you shouldn't.

In a video posted by Funny or Die on Monday (July 15), The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney flex their funnybones with a parody trailer for their own "MasterCourse."

Set to dramatic music, the duo delivers a slew of one-liners proving that they are not cut out to teach their craft.

“Every song on a record is trying to accomplish something," Auerbach says. "That song in particular was trying to get me a new pool."

Other highlights include Carney pointing out that 4/7 is an "interesting" time signature, Auerbach rattling off the prices of his guitars, and Carney stating that he is the frontman of the band.

The Black Keys released Let's Rock, their first album in five years, on June 28 and are embarking on an extensive North American tour this fall.
