Kamal Gray, Stro Elliot, Roger Daltrey of The Who, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, host Jimmy Fallon, Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter, Pete Townshend of The Who, James Poyser, "Captain" Kirk Douglas, Mark Kelly, and Damon Bryson during "Classroom Instruments" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 15, 2019.

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend have played The Who's iconic rock rebellion anthem "Won't Get Fooled Again" in just about every arena and stadium in the world. But it's safe to say that they've never played it on a plastic toy ukulele and child's tambourine before. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icons crammed into the Tonight Show classroom on Wednesday night (May 15) to rip through a spirited version of the song with house band The Roots and host Jimmy Fallon, who contributed some wood block and enthusiastic backing vocals.

Townshend even ended the segment with his signature guitar smashing bit, breaking the colorful ukulele in half as Daltrey joked that he was leaving the band. The Who are currently cross the U.S. on their Moving On! tour, on which they are joined nightly by a 49-piece orchestra. The tour hits Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Thursday night (May 16) and the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on Saturday (May 18).
