Gary Clark Jr. brought reflective lyrics and soulful vibes with him for a performance of "What About Us" on Wednesday night’s (Feb. 27) Tonight Show. The song is the second track off of the Grammy-winning artist's latest LP, This Land. The R&B-tinged rock track follows the story of people who struggle to live in a small, rural town.

"There goes the neighborhood, one way or another/ You can call it what you want, but the young blood's taking over/ Don't get too comfortable, just plan on moving over/ 'Cause things gon' stay the same, it's the same thing over and over," Clark sang.
