Bruce Springsteen is set to wrap his wildly successful Broadway run on Dec. 15, but the Boss' intimate (mostly) one-man show will see a second life on Netflix when it hits the streaming service Dec. 16.

In the first trailer for Springsteen on Broadway, viewers are brought into New York's Walter Kerr Theater, where he's been revisiting some of the most beloved and painful chapters of the epic story of his life -- and a handful of his greatest hits, too.

He strums and sings through "Growing Up" while sharing personal anecdotes and memories of his loved ones, including his mom, his wife, Patti Scialfa, and his father, and the camera succeeds in bringing us into the intimate hush of the theater in this brief preview.

Springsteen performed a special selection from his Springsteen on Broadway program at the 2018 Tony Awards, where he also took home a special Tony for the show.
