The Liverpool, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester shows will be rescheduled for 2019.

Mumford & Sons announced on Tuesday (Nov. 19) that they will be canceling four upcoming U.K tour dates due to unforeseen technical difficulties.

Taking to Twitter to share the update, the band wrote: "It is with a really heavy heart that we have been forced to postpone four shows on this U.K tour due to unforeseen technical and logistical challenges. We are so sorry to need to do this, but we will see you soon. Please head to our website for more info."

Posting a full letter, the members explained that although the Delta Tour is by far the most ambitious show they've ever put together, it also requires them to free some space in their schedule in order to be able to execute the high production.

"We also hope you know by now, we never postpone shows lightly, in fact it's something we avoid at all costs," they shared, later apologizing for the situation and claiming that it is "simply not humanly possible" to play the scheduled U.K dates.

The Liverpool, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester shows will be rescheduled to 2019 and original tickets will be valid for the new dates.
