Superchunk and Fucked Up vocalist Damian Abraham have combined forces for a good cause on their new track "Our Work Is Done." Released on Tuesday (Nov. 13) via Merge Records as a limited-edition seven-inch single, the proceeds benefit Bill McKibben's anti-climate change organization, 350.org

A call-for-action packed with sizzling guitar riffs and driving drums, "Our Work Is Done" sparks the need to reconsider our choices regarding the environment. With urgent vocals, Superchunk singer Mac McCaughan announces, "We wont remember/ Because our work done/ We drained the life out of every living thing/ Under the sun."

In a statement, McCaughan explained why the group chose to partner with 350 for the track. “The news these days is overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to focus on the larger issues we are all collectively facing,” he said. “Climate change is transforming the world in dangerous ways and requires immediate action."

In addition to the joint track, Superchunk also released a cover of German New Wave performer Klaus Nomi's "Total Eclipse."
