The Avett Brothers Debut Heartfelt Ballad 'Roses and Sacrifice' on 'Late Night': Watch

(l-r) Bob Crawford, Scott Avett, Seth Avett and Joe Kwon of The Avett Brothers perform on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Oct. 24, 2018.

Debuting their new single "Roses and Sacrifice," The Avett Brothers served up a heartfelt performance at Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday night (Oct. 24).

With their country, jam and folk-infused tenor, the band delivered skillful melodies on the blue and pink stage as brothers Scott and Seth Avett rolled into the heartwarming lyrics, "Spent too much time apart/ God bless, we got to start again/ Your heart's been suffering/ I try to hold it every now and then."

Showing off their familial dynamics, the brothers accentuated each other's intonations as the instrument-heavy band offered elaborated harmonies, with Seth handling the high, keening lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Scott adding tasteful banjo and harmonica and band member Joe Kwon rocking the cello.
