With a rich sound that'll send anyone down rock n' roll memory lane, and just a bit of mud, The Dose's video for "Drown" is premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Oct. 25).

Indio Downey, the son of Robert Downey Jr, cultivates a sound reminiscent of Nirvana alongside bandmate Ralph Alexander in "Drown." Fusing undeniable influences of classic rock and grunge with their own heavyweight sound, the duo's firepower chemistry shines through on the track.

“’Drown’ is about facing your fears, come hell or high water. Lyrically, I’m almost daring them to face me," Downey tells Billboard

The Dose bring an equally vigorous energy to the performance video. The rawness of the song comes alive in the visual, where both Downey and Alexander are covered in mud while performing in the rain. As Alexander slams the drums, Downey delivers forceful guitar riffs and a full-throated vocal delivery.

The Dose is putting the finishing touches on their upcoming debut album.
