Putting an unique spin to Outkast's smash 2003 hit "Hey Ya!" -- Car Seat Headrest re-invented themselves with an impromptu rendition of the hip-hop anthem during their Seattle show on Friday (Oct. 12).

Closing out their dynamic performance -- the band stunned fans when they rolled into an unexpected cover of the iconic tune from the rap duo's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below double album. Confidently delivering Andre 3000's verse with his signature raspy voice, frontman Will Toledo sent the crowd into a frenzy in between fiery guitar riffs and lively keyboard chords.

Adding a rock n' roll touch to the naturally funky song, the outcome was an upbeat, boisterous cover that sent the energy through the roof for the band's encore as the whole room sang along to the famous chorus.

Notorious for their live covers, Car Seat Headrest also played their own rendition of The Smashing Pumpkins' "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" and offered their re-imagined version of Finish DJ Darude's 2000 hit "Sandstorm."
