Børns Dropped From Austin City Limits Weekend Two

The singer is facing allegations of sexual misconduct and grooming from multiple women.

Austin City Limits Festival announced on Thursday (Oct. 11) that Børns (the stage name for Garrett Borns) will not be returning to the event's second weekend after he appeared on the first weekend. Removing the artist from their schedule one day before his return to the stage, the festival twetted: "Børns will no longer be performing at ACL Fest this weekend. An updated performance schedule is available on the ACL Fest website and our Official mobile app."

Earlier in September, Børns was accused of sexual misconduct and predatory behavior by multiple women. While none of the accusers have claimed the 26-year-old did anything strictly nonconsensual -- there are various allegations of underaged grooming, coercion and overly aggressive sexual acts.

Børns took to his social media to express his frustration and deny the allegations stating that, “All of the relationships I have had were legal and consensual. They ended abruptly and that obviously caused hurt feelings, but for anyone to suggest anything beyond that is irresponsible.”

On Sept. 28, the singer was also dropped from the D.C.-based music festival All Things Go Fall Classic, after the event shared a statement saying, "Børns will no longer be performing at the 2018 All Things Go Fall Classic. We hope, in all years and especially this one, that the Fall Classic continues to be part of making the music world a better, more equal place."
