The National Brings 'Dark Side of the Gym' Video to Life on 'Tonight Show': Watch
The mesmerizing performance featured ballet dancers Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck.
Performing their slow-simmering ballad "Dark Side of the Gym," The National brought their music video to life with the help of dancers Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck on The Tonight Show on Monday night (Oct. 1).
The sentimental track from the group's Grammy-nominated album Sleep Well Beast started to make headlines in 2017 when The National released a mesmerizing music video featuring top-notch ballet dancer Patricia Delgado and renowned choreographer Justin Peck doing a beautiful pas de deux. Delivering the same undeniable chemistry on stage, the duo performed live on Fallon while the band sweetly played the dreamy track in the background.
"The first time I saw you, you were walking out/ I wanted to ask if you could stay/ But you were on something with your friends around/ There was nothing I could say/ But I'm gonna keep you in love with me for a while," frontman Matt Berninger slowly chanted as Delgado and Peck fascinated the crowd with their contemporary dance moves.
