Jack White Announces 'Kneeling at The Anthem D.C.' Concert Film Release

Jack White has announced the forthcoming release of a live concert film, titled Jack White: Kneeling at The Anthem D.C., due out Friday, Sept. 21. The film is directed by Emmett Malloy, who also directed the 2009 The White Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights

The performance will be available for viewing exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, a six-song Amazon Original live EP with highlights from the evening will also be released on the same day as an Amazon Music exclusive. In advance of the EP, Amazon has made his live performance of "Connected By Love," from his most recent album, Boarding House Reach, available for purchase.

The film comes from a live performance on May 30 at Washington, D.C.'s Anthem during a stop on White's Boarding House Reach tour. Besides giving fans a taste of his new album, the set includes a number of career-spanning hits.
