Fall Out Boy Announce 'The Mania Experience' & Chicago Pop-Up Shop

In celebration for their just-released Lake Effect Kid EP, Fall Out Boy has announced that they'll be opening up an experience space and a pop-up shop before their hometown show at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Sept. 8.

In a collection of posts, the band teased a purple poster with the ghostly styled words "The Mania Experience" and captioned it, "Decided to start the party early by opening up #TheMANIAExperience before the show starts on Saturday. We teamed up with so many incredible artists to help bring the album to life in a completely different lens, so get your cameras ready."

The band explain that the experience will have 12 different spaces for fans to walk through including a giant purple wave, a room full of music boxes with unreleased remixes, covers, and more, and a photo op with M A N I A mascots Frosty and Royal Tea.

The coinciding pop-up shop will also be open for fans to buy limited-edition merch and giveaways with the promise of, "other fun along the way. Who knows what could happen." Tickets are free for the experience and the pop-up shop, which will be open only on September 8 and 9. The band also stated that fans can start RSVPing on Tuesday (Aug. 28) and that there will be more information to come.
