Death Cab for Cutie paid a visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday (Aug. 16) to perform their bittersweet single "Gold Rush," which samples Yoko Ono’s 1972 song “Mind Train," from their now-released album Thank You For Today.

Covered in golden stage lights, the band rocked the track with a well-blended combination of lead singer Ben Gibbard's signature melancholy vocals, groovy guitar slides and a driving drum beat.

Along with the release of their ninth studio album, the band also announced on their website that there will be two tours in support of the album -- one in Fall 2018 and the other in Europe for 2019.
