Synthpop legends New Order have announced a new concert documentary, Decades, that follows the rehearsals of the band preparing to re-stage their acclaimed So It Goes collaboration with Liam Gillick.

The film depicts the band working with Gillick and a 12-piece synthesizer orchestra prior to their performance at Manchester International Festival 2017.

According to Sky Arts, the film provides "a rare chance to enter the band’s private world, understand the visual philosophy of their aesthetic and design, and witness their collaborative, creative processes first hand.”

Additionally, the documentary will include interviews with the band's collaborators and reflect on their long and complicated history.

Decades will premiere on Sky Arts on Sept. 22 at 9:00 p.m.
