Brian Robert Jones and Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend perform on day 3 of Lollapalooza at Grant Park on Aug. 4, 2018 in Chicago.

Just days after announcing their move to Sony Music, Vampire Weekend has confirmed that their fourth album is finished and in the process of being mastered.

Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig made the announcement during the band's Saturday night (Aug. 4) set at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The as-yet untitled release follows 2013's Modern Vampires of the City.

Last week, the group's long-rumored leap to Sony was confirmed in a Sony Corporation financial statement, which named a Vampire Weekend release in a list of “noteworthy projects” for the quarter ending Sept. 30.

The band was previously signed to XL Recordings.

In late May, Vampire Weekend wrote on Instagram that their follow-up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City is “94.5% done.”
