Ever wonder what a weird drug trip is like? Watching YUNGBLUD's latest video might give you an idea.

The 19-year-old British alt-rock singer unveils the mind-bending visual for "Medication" today (July 17), in which he tries to find some normalcy in his rather dark life using, well, medication. Once he pops some pills, YUNGBLUD's world turns into a colorful false reality of a perfect household, then flashes between the flawless and the flawed -- a depiction of what sometimes goes on in the singer's head.

"Welcome to the eyes of someone growing up in a heavily medicated society where reality and drug-induced fantasy is becoming very much intertwined," YUNGBLUD tells Billboard of the video's trippy concept.

Looking to conceive the "lovechild" of Beetlejuice, Natural Born Killers and a Katy Perry video, YUNGBLUD had two goals for "Medication": send a message and mess with your mind. Or, as he puts it, "Shining a light on darkness happening in the real world, yet leaving people thinking 'what the f**k did I just watch.'"

YUNGBLUD will be bringing his wacky antics to stages all across America on tour this fall, following a busy summer full of festivals (including Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds and Life is Beautiful) and a slot on the Warped Tour's final run. The singer also recently released his debut album, 21st Century Liability, which includes "Medication" and his 2017 alternative hit "I Love You, Will You Marry Me."
