Buddy Guy & James Bay Are 'Blue No More' on Slow-Jamming New Single: Listen

Buddy Guy

Guitar virtuoso Buddy Guy has returned with a quintessentially bluesy new single, the aptly titled "Blue No More," which was released Wednesday (May 30). Not one to shy away from collaborations with younger guns, Guy brought on British singer/songwriter James Bay to duet on this soulful slow-jam.

The introspective, optimistic tune sees Guy and Bay trading lines in the verses, backed by classic electric guitar runs over a soothing, waltzy beat. The two artists manage to blend together seamlessly as they yearn for days when they're "blue no more," despite the 54-year age gap between the pair.

"Blue No More" comes from Guy's forthcoming 18th studio album, The Blues Is Alive And Well, set for release June 15. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Jeff Beck will also be heard featured on the album.
