Last year, Foo Fighters helped revive the long-forgotten California Jam festival that took place back in the ‘70s. Now, they’ve revealed their curated lineup for the 2018 incarnation of the fest, which will take place Saturday, Oct. 6 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California.

The original, mostly forgotten California Jam of 1974 boasted rock acts like Deep Purple, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and The Eagles, and the latest incarnation would seem to veer in that guitar-heavy direction as well. 2018’s Cal Jam will be headlined by the Foos along with appearances by Tenacious D, Garbage, Silversun Pickups, Manchester Orchestra, an exclusive reunion of Iggy Pop with Post Pop Depression, and many more.

Last year’s version of the fest, Cal Jam 17, was received well -- the Los Angeles Times noted that the MO of the weekend geared toward the audience being able to “feel connection and catharsis.” It would seem that goodwill was enough to spill into an even-stronger lineup in 2018. You can purchase tickets here this Thursday, May 17 at 10 AM PST.
