During a Foo Fighters performance in Austin, Texas last week (April 18), Dave Grohl was blown away when fan Yayo Sanchez -- who Grohl deemed “KISS guy” in reference to his face paint – nailed the “Monkey Wrench” guitar solo on Grohl's own guitar.

Grohl chose the fan to come on stage after seeing him hold up a sign that read "Monkey Wrench." To Grohl's surprise, Yayo Sanchez absolutely shredded each solo to pieces. “I can’t even remember the words!” Grohl exclaimed, giving Sanchez the ultimate seal of approval.

Sanchez had his own moment to shine towards the end of the track. “Alright, KISS guy,” Grohl yelled into the mic, “I wanna hear you shred, give it to ‘em.” Grohl was once again blown away as Sanchez perfectly dominated his improvised solo, driving the audience into uproarious applause.

When the song finally ended, Grohl got on both knees, bowing to his new rock 'n' roll master.
