Taking Back Sunday guitarist and founding member Eddie Reyes is no longer with the band, according to an announcement on Taking Back Sunday's official Facebook page posted on Friday (Apr. 13).

"Guitarist Eddie Reyes and Taking Back Sunday have parted ways due to personal reasons. Eddie was a founding member of the band and his contributions can be felt all along the way. John, Shaun, Mark and Adam love Eddie, wish him well in his future endeavors," the post read in part, with no further elaboration on what the personal reasons for the split were.

Reyes co-founded the Long Island-based emo ensemble in 1999 after performing with a handful of other bands. The group has released seven studio albums so far and will be touring Mexico, the U.K. and Germany starting this month. This summer, they'll be hitting the road in the U.S. alongside Coheed and Cambria.
