On Friday (Feb. 16) Paramore announced that they would be postponing two of their upcoming tour dates after singer Hayley Williams was diagnosed with a throat and upper respiratory infection.

In a Facebook post, Williams said, “After getting an official diagnosis from a doctor here in Jakarta, our team decided that it would be the right thing to postpone the show tonight [Feb. 16] in Jakarta as well as the next show in Manila [Feb. 18] to later this year.”

After adding that she was in the care of a doctor, Williams took to her Twitter to express her disappointment with having to cancel: “[it]breaks my heart to feel like im letting people down. trying so hard to get better asap…i know how hard yall work to come see us play a show. we all appreciate it so much.”

Williams followed up with a tweet featuring a “current image” of her in all her sick glory, jokingly pleading with the media to use an image of the Crypt Keeper to illustrate her current state of rest and recuperation:

The tour, dubbed “Tour Four” is to promote the band's fifth studio album After Laughter which was released in 2017. Get well soon, Hayley!
