U.K. rock band Muse dropped a brand-new single and video for their electric new track “Thought Contagion” on Thursday (Feb. 15).

"The meaning of the song 'Thought Contagion' is about how other people's thoughts, ideas and beliefs can sometimes infect your mind, get into your head and change the way you think yourself,” founding member Matt Bellamy said in a press release.

The video is accompanied by a intense '80s-inspired zombie love story, reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

Muse said in May that fans could expect a new album from the band in 2018. They dropped their previous single “Dig Down” last spring. There's no release date on their new album yet, but check out the new video below.
