Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name. Or, in the case of the Foo Fighters, where everything is your name. In the midst of an Australian tour, the veteran Southern California rockers have taken over a city block and converted it into the Foo Fighters Hotel, complete with their name on the marquee and a special beer brewed up in their honor called Foo Town.

The former Hollywood Hotel in downtown Sydney has been converted into a Foo-centric destination from Wednesday (Jan. 24) until Saturday (Jan. 27), with a full set of activities for Fooheads, who can belly up to the bar for some Foo lager and enjoy trivia nights, pop-up merch stores and an Australia Day celebration on Friday night (Jan. 26). After their gig in Sydney on Saturday night, the group will move on to Melbourne for a show on Jan. 30 and another pop-up .

During their stay in Melbourne Dave Grohl and company will take over the Cherry Bar and flip it into the FooieBar (Jan. 27-30), which will feature a merch shop, trivia and a pre-and post-show party. Click here for the full schedule of events.
