Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and wife Talinda Bennington arrive at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand on May 20, 2012 in Las Vegas.

Nearly six months after the death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, fans of the band have been showing up at the house where he died to pay their respects. In a series of tweets, the late signer's wide Talinda Bennington announced plans for a “very special birthday memorial” for Chester this spring.

She also has asked fans to stop going to the house where Bennington died by suicide on July 20th, 2017: “We (our family & the band) are deciding on the best place for a permanent memorial. It’s a big decision and your respect & patience is appreciated. We love you all.”

Instead of bringing cards to their old home, Bennington asked them to forward their well-wishes to the Warner Brothers Records address, or to donate to the One More Light Fund.
