Kid Rock Squashes His Rumored 2018 Senate Bid: See the 12 Funniest Twitter Reactions
After teasing a potential 2018 Senate bid for several months, Kid Rock admitted to Howard Stern on Tuesday morning (Oct. 24) that the whole campaign was just a ploy to drum up publicity for his new album, Sweet Southern Sugar, out Nov. 3.

Some took the opportunity to lambast the "Bawitdaba" singer's musical output. Others still responded to the news in a way that could be effectively boiled down to one word: "Duh."
