Beck's upcoming Colors album (out Oct. 13) is definitely a return to the singer's funky form after 2014's somber Morning Phase. So it makes sense that none other than the the funky headhunter himself, MC Hammer, would not only put his stamp of approval on the release, but also literally lend his name to it. Okay, maybe it doesn't make sense at all, but it's pretty cool.

In a series of tweets that raised more questions than it answered, Newbury Comics announced on Monday (Oct. 9) that it will be selling CD copies of Beck's latest that feature a booklet signed by Hammer, who dubbed Colors a "great party record" in a tweet promoting the collabo.
