After Arcade Fire's long album rollout for Everything Now (which dropped July 28) featuring cryptic content, seemingly infinite jabs at the way media is consumed, and fidget spinners for sale, the band's frontman Win Butler is stepping back from his Twitter account.

On Monday (Aug. 7) Butler took to Twitter to announce that he will no longer be using the social media platform for the time being. He tweeted, “Taking an extended break from this thing.” The musician also added that he will be back online and active sometime soon by saying, “Talk later when I got something to say.”

While you wait for Butler to start tweeting again, you can follow along on his Instagram, which he still seems to still be using -- and listen to Arcade Fire’s recent No. 1 album Everything Now, of course.
