nothing,nowhere. is the solo-project of a producer-vocalist who’s one of several hotly hyped artists of the moment melding trap beats with third wave emo guitars and yearning vocals.

He’s chosen to keep his identity anonymous so far, but we do know a few things: he gained buzz from the online tastemaker Astari, who included his videos in playlists alongside kindred spirits like Lil Peep, and he’s currently signed to Equal Vision Records and Pete Wentz’s imprint, DCD2. And he has earned the co-sign of at least one emo torchbearer.

In the brand new video for “Hopes Up” -- premiering below exclusively on Billboard -- catch a guest spot from none other than Chris Carrabba. The Dashboard Confessional frontman appears just before the two-minute mark, providing guest vocals on nothing,nowhere’s track.

“Hopes Up” follows a pair of EPs released by the New England artist over the past two years. Check out the video below.
