Takeover Tuesday: Foster the People Share Exclusive 'Sacred Hearts Club' Playlist

Welcome back to Takeover Tuesday, where each week Billboard taps chart-topping artists and tastemakers to compile their very own playlist exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. We give the artists free rein to base the list on whatever subject they choose. The only rule? Make it as creative and unique to them as possible.

This week, following the release of Foster The People's third studio album Sacred Hearts Club (that came out July 21), member Isom Innis shares a playlist full of the indie-pop band's go-tos, from pre-show pump-ups like "Eisbar” by Grauzone or “Iceblink Luck” by Cocteau Twins, a song Innis says Sean Cimino always puts on before they perform, to post-show comedowns like The Beach Boys' "Feel Flows," which Innis says "we listen to in the dressing room [when we're] trying to come back to Earth."

Other tracks included on the playlist include The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop," a song Innis thinks captures the spirit of Sacred Hearts Club because it "channels New York City in the late '70s," and John Maus' "Don't be a Body," which he says his wife dances around to in the morning.
